CUTTING-EDGE MANUAL ATHLETIC THERAPY SERVICES

We provide Athletic Training services that will improve your mobility, decrease muscle soreness, and promote overall recovery to keep you performing at your best. With 30 and 60 minute sessions available, we make it easy for you to get the treatment you need to make you feel better and give you the tools to improve in-between visits.

Manual Therapy & Stretching

Our goals for manual therapy & stretching are to focus on increasing joint and soft tissue mobility, increasing flexibility, and increasing muscle performance while decreasing pain and swelling. By focusing on these areas, our patients immediately feel better after their treatment and have a faster path returning to their previous level of performance.

  • Improve performance and mobility
  • Decrease risk of injury and reduce pain
  • Enhance joints functional and range of motion
  • Reduce muscle tension and inflammation
  • Increase circulation and muscle activation
Therapeutic Ultrasound

Our Therapeutic Ultrasound therapy provides deep heating and simulation to soft tissue in the body, which encourages repair and could significantly reduce the healing time of some injuries. With deep heating muscles, tendons, or ligaments, circulation increases to those tissues and may help the healing process while decreasing pain.

  • Post Injury
  • Deep tissue healing
  • Reduce Pain
  • Increase Circulation and Mobility of Soft Tissues
  • Creates a Tissue Healing Environment
Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM)

IASTM is variation of manual therapy we use often and a technique that utilizes specialized instruments instead of a therapist's hands. With these instruments, direct treatment and pressure of the soft tissues can be applied to targeted areas to improve mobility and decrease pain.

  • Reduces Inflammation
  • Allows for Faster Recovery
  • Relieves Chronic Conditions
  • Aids in Breaking Up of Adhesions
  • Is administered with other modalities (i.e. manual therapy)
Intermittent Pneumatic Compression (IPC)

We help athletes speed up their recovery with dynamic compression consisting of intermittent pneumatic compression (IPC) therapy. Our IPC therapy devices are very popular among all our athletes since increased recovery benefits may provide improvements in performance before and after treatment.

  • Increase Blood Flow
  • Enhance Lymphatic Drainage
  • Improve Tissue Elasticity
  • Decrease Recovery Time
Cupping

Cupping therapy increases blood circulation and promotes healing to the area on the body where the cups are placed. This method provides muscle relaxation and may relieve muscle tension while improving overall blood circulation. It may also enhance cell repair by helping form new connective tissues and stimulate new blood vessels in the tissue.

  • Promotes healing
  • Increases lymphatic drainage and circulation
  • Promotes relaxation
  • Decreases muscle adhesions
Percussive Therapy

Our percussion therapy focuses on reducing soft tissue pain and soreness by utilizing a tool that provides rapid pulses deep into the body's soft tissues. This innovative therapy accelerates the growth and stimulates the repair of tissues by rapidly increasing blood flow to the area.

  • Relieve Muscle Pain
  • Stiffness/Soreness
  • Increase ROM
  • Increase Circulation & Blood Flow
  • Can be used to warm up and cool down
Electrical Stimulation

Electrical Stimulation therapy improves muscle activation for training sessions and increases strength and contraction rates in muscles without external load on the body. This is even more important when recovering from injury or trying to limit load volume on muscles.

  • Used in Conjunction with Rehabilitation
  • Increases ROM of Tense Muscles
  • Improves Blood Flow and Circulation
  • Prevents and Reverses Muscle Atrophy
  • Reduces Muscle Pain
  • Can be Used to Re-Educate Muscular Firing Patterns
Therapeutic & Corrective Exercises

Electrical Stimulation therapy improves muscle activation for training sessions and increases strength and contraction rates in muscles without external load on the body. This is even more important when recovering from injury or trying to limit load volume on muscles.

  • Improves functional and athletic performance
  • Reduce risk of injury and stress
  • Corrects posture and body alignment
  • Promotes strength and flexibility improvements
  • Detects muscle imbalances and weaknesses
Dry Needling

Dry Needling (DN) is considered a skilled minimally invasive intervention that uses a thin filament needle to penetrate a variety of altered or dysfunctional connective soft tissue, including derma, fascia, muscle, scar tissue, ligaments, tendon, peripheral nerves, neurovascular bundles, and even rigid structures such as bone.

  • Promote the body’s natural healing
  • Increase range of motion
  • Treatment of trigger points or high stress areas
  • Management of acute and chronic neuromusculoskeletal pain and movement impairments
