Mikayla is a graduate of the University of Kentucky. At UK, she obtained a B.S. in Kinesiology and Health Promotion with a focus in Exercise Science. She spent her summer of 2018 interning at House of Athlete where her love for biomechanics sparked. Her drive for fitness and nutrition came in high school and continued through her college experience as an outlet to help balance all of the new stressors of life. She believes and understands that nutrition and fitness need to work as a cohesive unit to be able to achieve goals a person may set for themselves on their fitness journey.
